Van Cats House- Due to the extinction of Van cat generation Van's cat house was launched in 1999. In the house of Van cats, you can see beautiful cats with the same pan eyes in different ages. Thy are mostly known for their white color, but they can be seen in other colors such as black and white, red, cream, blue and brown. The nose is pink and they have a round muzzle, medium ears and round and big eyes, which are usually blue and amber in color.

One of the interesting points about the wan cats (the wan breed) is that these creatures love swimming contrary to the other cats.

The house of Van cats was established to keep these creatures and today it is introduced to tourists as one of the attractions of Van city.

Lake Van-  It is in the vicinity of a tall and beautiful mountain named Subhan in the western part of Van. The approximate area of ​​this lake is 3755 square kilometers and its length is approximately 120 kilometers. It is known as one of the widest and most beautiful lakes in this country as the width of the lake reaches 80 km. The shores of Lake Van are mostly sandy and provide a suitable place for tourists to rest and relax. But in some other places, such as the place of attachment to Akhtamar Island, they are rocky and have created a beautiful view.

Evening

Akdamar Island-  Akdamar Island is about 3 kilometers away from the shores of Lake Van and and this fact has made tourists not to miss the beautiful views of this island.

It is located on the eastern Türkiye and is one of the 4 big and main islands of Lake Van. The area of ​​this island is about 0.7 square kilometers.

In addition to natural attractions, there is also a very beautiful historical monument on this island. This building is the Akdamar Church, which is considered one of the must-see places in Van.

Van Museum – There are many objects in this museum including fine gold ornaments, bronze belts, helmets, horse armor, and pottery pieces. This collection belongs to the Oratorian period, including You can also see prehistoric artifacts found in Tilki Hill and historical objects from the Ottoman period in the museum collection.

Van AVM Mall- This is the best and biggest shopping center in Van city of Türkiye. It is modern, multi-storey retail center and It has got brand stores, fast food restaurants and a cinema.

Evening

Van Castle-  It is located on the eastern shore of Lake Van, 5 km from the center of Van province. This castle dates back to the 7th to 9th century BC and was built by Orators in the Iron Age.

This place contains signs of the presence of early Caucasian people, Urartians, Medes, Persians (Achaemenians), Romans, Parthians, Sassanians, Arabs, Byzantines, Seljuks, Armenians, Ilkhans, Mongols, Qaraqionlu, Safavids and even Ottomans, and each These civilizations have brought about changes in the structure and architecture of the castle. This castle was discovered from under the water by divers of Van Yuzunki Yil University during an excavation.
